Redefyned Racing is a racing team put together in 2008 by Airdrie resident Josh Gross. Our passion for racing, streetfighters, and performance stems from modifying and building our own bikes into personalized and unique machines. We are very proud of what we’ve accomplished and things will only get better!

For the 2009 Calgary Motorcycle Racing Association season, Redefyned Racing (in cooperation with Redline Motorsports and Bridgestone Tires) will be on site at all CMRA events offering Trackside Assistance and tire changes with the high spec Bridgestone BT003 DOT Race Tire. All purchases can be made through Richard at RedlineCalgary.com.

Also at all CMRA events will be our road racing team consisting of Pit Crew Chief and Head Mechanic Josh Gross, rider Johnny Allison (Red #81), as well as associate riders Travis Johnson (Red #14) and Vincent Bernier (Red #71). Also a part of Redefyned Racing is journeyman mechanic Curtis Dyck.

Joshua Gross: Crew Chief
Josh has been riding motorcycles since his early childhood and is currently a 2nd year Motorcycle Mechanic Apprentice. He has 6 years experience in the industry working in all capacities as a mechanic, Parts and Accessories Manager, Sales Manager, Service Writer and more. He has owned several bikes including an award winning 2000 GSX-R750, as well as a magazine featured 1994 Kawasaki ZX6E streetfighter. His current daily ride is a 1991 Kawasaki KLR650 and he is currently building a 1989 Suzuki GSX-R750 with a fully built nitrous injected 1109cc engine and a single sided swingarm (amongst other things). It is planned to be on the road for summer 2009. Its progress can be followed on www.CustomFighters.com. He also enjoys riding his 2006 Ducati Monster with his friends.

Curtis Dyck : Mechanic
Curtis is a Journeyman Motorcycle Mechanic currently working towards his Red Seal accreditation. Also with 6 years experience, he apprenticed under some of the best Journeymen that Calgary has to offer and has worked on everything from early 70s Honda CB’s to the state of the art Ducati 1098S. He has a passion for offroad riding and feeds this with his current daily ride, a 1998 Honda XR650L. He also owns a 1985 Yamaha FJ1100 which has been pulled off the road for a major rebuild and some “go fast goodies”. Curtis also looks forward to building up the RZ350 that he recently picked up. Currently a BMW mechanic, Curtis enjoys all facets of the motorcycling hobby.
